This is your chance to stop the demolition of Villa Degiorgio and protect the iconic area known as ‘tat-Tlett Siġriet’ in Sliema
The applicant is requesting the total demolition of this villa and its redevelopment up to a height of 6 floors extending into the green enclave at the back of the property. If approved this development will destroy the green oasis found in the heart of this urban area and permanently disfigure the character of this well-preserved and truly iconic landmark of Sliema.
Standing along a well-preserved predominantly 2-storey street in Sliema’s Urban Conservation Area FAA maintains that this development runs counter to various planning policies and must be REFUSED by the Planning Authority.
Let the Authorities know that you are aware of these planning infringements and against the abusive destruction of our heritage by submitting your representation to PA/00505/18 through the form provided below.
