For all intents and purposes – the Ta’Braxia, designed by the famous Emmanuele Luigi Galizia, is the first extra-mural cemetery in Malta. It was a place designed and built to be a place of rest for all “denominations without distinction of creed” during the time of Governor Sir William Reid. Join FAA, Prof Conrad Thake and Janica Buhagiar into this jewel of Malta, as we learn about the history, monuments and architectural styles of the Ta’Braxia.
All those wishing to order the book can order online via a form and send a cheque of 45 euros addressed to Prof Conrad Thake by mail. The book can then be collected during the tour.
