The Importance of Policy Making and Media Advocacy – From Rural to Plural Romania 2025 Training Course – Lara Bajada Young

Representing FAA, I recently returned from an enriching ERASMUS+ Training Programme in Romania, an experience that has significantly broadened my understanding of youth policy and advocacy. The course titled “From Rural to Plural,” provided a comprehensive exploration of youth policy making and media advocacy, offering invaluable insights into the complexities of these holistic fields. Beyond the formal curriculum, the programme fostered a vibrant international network, bringing together students, NGOs and organisations from diverse countries from around the world. This provided a unique opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss local challenges specific to each represented country, and explore potential avenues for collaboration. The shared commitment to empowering rural youth created a strong sense of community and purpose.

To initially share my knowledge and help FAA move forward in policy making and media advocacy, please take some time to fill in the survey below for FAA to better understand the people’s perspectives on living in Malta and the potential need for a carrying capacity assessment.
