Join us for a magical open-air evening in the beautiful gardens of Villa Bologna — FAA’s flagship annual event celebrating film, food, and community under the stars.

The evening begins with a newly digitised short film by pioneering Maltese filmmaker Frans A. Attard, captured in the early 1960s on 8mm film. This nostalgic piece offers a rare glimpse into Gozo’s past.

Our feature film, Brothers from Malta, is a heart warming and hilarious indie comedy:
Denounced Maltese brothers Joe and Charlie must break their seven-year silence when they’re forced to road trip across California — accompanied by a gassy dog and a precious family heirloom — to rescue their dying sister.
A feel-good film with sibling chaos, unlikely reconnections, and lots of laughs.
